Sigyn: Victorious Girl/Friend

Sigyn is married to Loki, and they have the sons Narfi and Vali. Once when Loki finally had done one trick to many, he was bound in a cave with a serpent over his head. Sigyn his loyal wife, stays with him day and night, with a bowl in her hands. Holding it over his head catching the venom, that is dripping from the serpent’s jaws. When she empties the bowl, some drops of venom from the serpent falls on Loki, and he writhed with pain, causing the earth earth quakes in Midgard. Sigyn stays with Loki until Ragnarök “The end of the world”.
